The King's Singers - Songbird

Watch us perform Songbird with The King's Singers!

About The Project

Please note that this project is now finished, and singers are recording their submissions.
Hello and welcome! The Stay At Home Choir is an online music-making community, running virtual choir projects which have allowed more than 25,000 amateur singers from around the world to meet and collaborate with their favourite artists over the internet.

I just have to say THANK YOU for this experience! I haven’t felt this musically alive in decades!

Sandra, Wisconsin, USA

We've collaborated with The Swingles, John Rutter, Sir Karl Jenkins, VOCES8, conductor Marin Alsop and the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic... and for our anniversary project we're welcoming back our first collaborators, The King’s Singers.
As someone who lives in Australia, working alongside Tori and Jamie and having opportunities to chat and sing with some of my favourite international vocal ensembles has honestly been a dream come true!
Jesse, Australia
The King's Singers were our first full collaboration, (after our inaugural performance of the Vivaldi Gloria with the RPO). The video from that project had more than half a million views, despite the fact we only had 672 members back then!

To give everyone the chance to meet the wonderful guys in this world-leading group, we will be singing Christine McVie’s emotive ‘Songbird’ which has been lovingly arranged by the King’s Singers own Nick Ashby. We can’t wait to start delving into this beautiful piece in rehearsals and we hope to see you there!
This project will run through March.
Registration for this project is Pay-As-You-Feel, but we suggest a contribution of £16, or more if you're able, to access all our events, resources and submissions portal.
We are able to accommodate school groups and choir groups, please email [email protected] for more information and pricing.

For me being part of the SAHC community, meeting all those crazy, inspiring, wonderful and musical people from all over the world is something that I never had thought I would ever experience. And look where we are now!! What an achievement!! What a joy!! What a hell of a lot of fun and happiness.
